MICHAEL final conference


"Promoting the European cultural heritage worldwide:
impact and benefits"

Warsaw May 19-20, 2008

Conference summarised MICHAEL project achievements by the project partners such as the ministries of culture, and cultural heritage institutions from across Europe. The conference was held in May 19-20, 2008 in the Museum of John Paul II Collection (Muzeum Kolekcji im. Jana Pawła II) in Warsaw, Plac Bankowy 1.

Polish partner of the project is Ministry of Interior and Administration, supported by the International Center for Information Management Systems and Services working on inventory of digital collections preparation in collaboration with Polish cultural heritage institutions.

Conference participants included the MICHAEL Project partners - representatives of ministries and cultural heritage institutions from all over Europe, invited guests, and representatives of numerous Polish institutions such as archives, libraries and museums.
